BOQ-Based Procurement from China — Source Every Line Item, One Shipment
Submit your Bill of Quantities across any material category. Structural, interior, MEP, hardware, or machinery and you get back one consolidated, line-item quotation mapped to your original document.
The Problem
Quoting a Multi-Trade BOQ Shouldn’t Mean 20 Separate Conversations
If you’ve ever priced a 200-line BOQ across a dozen trades, you already know where the time goes. Chasing suppliers, normalizing quotations, and reformatting documents just to make them comparable take the maximum moment.
20+ separate supplier conversations
A multi-trade BOQ usually means a dozen WeChat threads, half a dozen Alibaba inquiries, and no single party accountable for the document.
Inconsistent units and incomplete specs
Some lines are precise, others say 'as per drawing' with no drawing attached. Suppliers quote around the gaps and the prices stop being comparable.
Reformatting every quotation by hand
Each factory sends back its own template. The QS spends a day rebuilding line numbering before the BOQ can even be priced.
No single point of accountability
When a line is wrong, late, or missing on arrival, no one owns the document only the line they quoted.
One BOQ, multiple shipments
Each supplier ships separately. Freight cost multiplies, customs filing multiplies, site handling multiplies.
Lost time, not lost money
The actual unit prices are usually fine. What kills a BOQ procurement cycle is the four weeks lost coordinating it.
The JEES Approach
One BOQ. One Coordinated Sourcing Process.
We review the full BOQ, sort every line into the right material category, route it to the matched factories already in our sourcing network, and return one quotation document using the same line numbering as the original file.
The line numbering is the detail that matters. The returned quotation drops back into your BOQ document at the same row references, so your QS workflow doesn’t change.
Same line numbering
Returned quotation maps row-for-row to your original BOQ.
Multi-category in one file
Structural, interior, MEP, hardware and machinery in one quotation.
Matched-factory routing
Each line goes to a factory already vetted for that product family.
Inspection per category
Pre-shipment QC per category, photo report against the BOQ line.
Consolidated shipment
All categories loaded into one container under a documented plan.
One set of export docs
Single invoice, packing list and BL for the consolidated cargo.
How It Works
One BOQ In. One Container Out.
Twelve steps from your submitted BOQ to delivered cargo at your destination port. The fan-out below shows where your document splits across factories and where it reconsolidates into a single shipment.
Submit your BOQ
Excel, PDF or Word, including exports from CostX, Buildsoft, Cubit or similar QS software. We accept the document as it is.
BOQ review & categorization
Every line is read and sorted into the relevant material category. Structural, interior, MEP, hardware, machinery.
Specification clarification
Any line with missing or vague specs is flagged back to you before quoting. We never guess at a spec to keep a quotation looking complete.
Multi-factory quotation
Matched factories in our existing sourcing network quote each line item or category group based on the agreed specifications.
Consolidated quotation returned
One document, same line numbering as your BOQ unit price, MOQ, lead time and incoterm against every line you submitted.
Review & approve
Approve the full BOQ or selected lines only. You decide what moves to production and what stays open for further review.
Sample confirmation
If you need samples like finishes, tiles, hardware, fabrics, we coordinate dispatch and sign-off before bulk production starts.
Production coordination
Across every factory involved, production timelines are aligned so categories arrive at the consolidation warehouse in the right sequence.
Pre-shipment inspection per category
Each category is inspected at its factory or at our consolidation warehouse before loading, with a photo report against the BOQ line.
Consolidated packing & loading
Mixed-category goods are packed, labelled by BOQ line and loaded into one container under a documented loading plan.
Export documentation
Commercial invoice, packing list, BL, certificate of origin and any fumigation or pre-shipment certificates required at your destination port.
Shipment & delivery
FOB, CIF or DDP to your nominated port, with tracking and a single point of contact through to arrival.

FAQ
BOQ Procurement from China — FAQs
01 Can JEES Global quote a full BOQ across multiple material categories?
- Yes. A multi-category BOQ is exactly what this service is built for. One submission covers structural, interior, MEP, hardware and machinery in a single quotation document — you do not need to split the file by trade before sending it.
02 What file formats do you accept for a BOQ?
- Excel (.xlsx, .xls), PDF and Word (.docx). Scanned PDFs are also accepted — we transcribe them back into a workable line-item structure during the review step. CSV exports from QS software are fine too.
03 Do you support BOQ formats from CostX, NRM, SMM7, or CSI Masterformat?
- Yes. The structure of your BOQ is preserved as-is. Line numbering, section headings and units are kept exactly as submitted so the returned quotation drops back into your existing document.
04 How long does a multi-category BOQ quotation take?
- Typical turnaround is 5 to 10 working days for a multi-trade BOQ, depending on size and how many lines need spec clarification. Single-category BOQs are usually returned in 3 to 5 working days.
05 Can you source only some line items, not the whole BOQ?
- Yes. You can mark a partial scope — for example, only the interior finishes, only the MEP, or a specific block of line numbers. The same line-numbering logic applies to the partial set.
06 What happens if a line item has incomplete specifications?
- We flag it back to you with a short specification query during the review step. Nothing gets quoted on a guessed spec — that is the single most common cause of disputes on delivery, so we surface it before pricing.
07 Can you handle phased or multi-building project BOQs?
- Yes. Phasing is read from the BOQ structure — if your document is organized by block, building or phase, the quotation and the shipment schedule follow the same structure.
08 Is there a minimum BOQ value?
- There is no fixed minimum BOQ value, but the service is structured around consolidated container shipments — most BOQs we handle fill at least one 40' HQ once production is complete.
09 How is pricing structured for BOQ orders versus single-category orders?
- The unit prices on the quotation are factory prices per line. Our sourcing fee is quoted separately and clearly — not hidden inside the unit rates — so the BOQ stays directly comparable to any other quotation you receive.
10 Do you provide one consolidated invoice for the full BOQ?
- Yes. One commercial invoice, one packing list and one BL for the consolidated shipment, with the BOQ line numbering preserved on the packing list so site receipt is straightforward.
